John Beverley is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at SUNY Buffalo and Co-Director of the National Center for Ontological Research. He leverages formal logic and knowledge representation to develop ontologies that enhance AI applications across domains from infectious disease to healthy aging.

Peter Elkin, MD, MACP, FACMI, FNYAM, is a Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Biomedical Informatics at UB’s Jacobs School of Medicine. He is renowned for pioneering work in clinical ontology, natural language processing, and health data standards, with over 200 peer-reviewed publications.

Jeremy Ravenel is the Founder & CEO of Naas.ai, an open-source data platform that empowers users worldwide to democratize data and AI through low-code templates and generative AI integrations.

Ken Archer is a Principal in Responsible AI at Microsoft and a Ph.D. researcher in Philosophy, Cognitive Science, and AI at Linköping University. His work focuses on the phenomenology of probability and ethical AI design.

Jose Maria Parente de Oliveira is an Associate Professor and Chief of the Division of Computer Science at the Technological Institute of Aeronautics, where he also coordinates the Graduate Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Alcides Lopes holds a Ph.D. from UFRGS and researches ontology-based information retrieval in the oil and gas domain. His work integrates semantic-driven AI, knowledge-based systems, and machine learning.
